Life is easy on the road...

First of all we would like to thanks our beloved and dear friends in Belgium for a great weekend. Thanks Christof, Jeff and Sanne for opening your houses to The High Hats. Secanodary we would like to thank Jens and Stefan at Das Hous in Kassel for a great night (sorry if you had to take any shit ;). Finally a huge thanks to Gustav for keeping it real and driving us back home. Would not be possible without you. So, with that said we hope you all enjoyed the new song "Pusher Street" that we played live for the first time ever. It will be released in an acoustic version on our upcoming split 7" w/ The Queers along side classic hit "Burn That Church". Stay tuned for more info. PS. THH visit Belgium & Germany

Due to a minor incident our guitarist "Tobe Med Kniven" have to stay in prison for the next five months, so he won't be able to follow the rest of the band to Belgium and Germany this weekend. Shit always happens so we are still convinced we will make it to the shows. Due to this matter, we decided to just do a weekend tour this spring and wait for Tobe to walk the streets again. So, we will do a bigger tour this autumn instead, no worries. Still we will see you all this Friday in Vorselaar, in Kassel on Saturday and in Zoersel on Sunday. Maybe we will show y'all a new song...

FUCK KULTUR!

Last night four out of five High Hats presented the songs "Lou Reed", "Kill Them All", "Heartbeaten By The Police" and "Purple Hearts" at Borås Stadsteater. The gala was presented by Borås local newspaper and the show might have been the strangest we have ever done. The 400 people in the audience were mostly 60+ of age and we performed behind a huge plastic wall. Luckily we got free beers and red wine all night! This is pretty much what it looked like:

Back from the dead!

Dear friends! We had a great time on the road last weekend when we visited Loppen in Copenhagen, Deabaser in Malmö and Insikten in Jönköping. Loads and loads of love to the promoters and the people that showed up at Loppen, all-star-band-motherfuckers Dead Actions (check 'em out asap!), Johan and the WWDIS-crew in Malmö, Pulver City (check 'em out asap!), Anton, Orre & Insikten-crew, d-beaters Crutches and Nässjö-Malin for the after party! We had a blast at the concerts this weekend at Pustervik in Gothenburg and Debaser in Stockholm! Thanks to Impo & The Tents, Långfinger and PAPER for the support, to the promoters for taking care of us and to all the people that showed up and seized the day. "Ryssby" premiere at PSL

Today on 12.12.12 we gave Swedish music blog PSL the honor the present our first video from ATCC. The video entitled "Ryssby" was shot at the very same place and is a love/hate tribute to the city of Borås. The video would not have been done if we did not receive the greatest support from Erik Johansson at Unibrow Productions and our beloved friends. You know who you are! So, be the first on in your block to witness the madness at Ryssby - fire, strong drinks and black metal!

First single from 'And Then Came Cancer' entitled 'Lou Reed' have reached D-rotation on Swedish national radio (SR). This means that the song will be played a couple of time each week. So keep your ears opened, dear friends.

"Med sådär två dagar kvar till slutförandet av denna listan gav jag mig äntligen på att lyssna på detta album ifrån min mapp av Musik Till Bloggen. Jag har knappt haft tid att gå igenom den förrän nu. Och jävlar vilken överraskning. Där fanns nämligen årets mest självklara Årets Album. Det har varit ett fantastiskt år för punk. Westkust, Vånna Inget, Holograms, Bäddat För Trubbel osv. Men detta omkullvälte alla de andra och påminde mig åter igen hur ett perfekt punkalbum ska se ut. Varenda låt är ett självklart alternativ till årets låt. Det är helt sjukt jävla bra. Detta är årets svenska Japandroids-platta. Jag blir tårögd över hur bra det är. A couple of days ago we received a fantastic review in Borås Tidning. The author meant that ATCC was the best album ever recorded in Borås.
