Release party

Dear friends. Next month, on Friday November 16:th, The High Hats will host an amazing show in Gothenburg to celebrate the release of "And Then Came Cancer". Friends and enemies will join the band on stage and behind the turn tables, and The High Hats will perform some of the best songs from the debut album as from the new one. A word from Alleycat

Dear friends, we received a message from Jonk at our record label Alleycat earlier today:

And then came cancer

We are proud to inform you that the second LP from The High Hats will be titled "And then came cancer" and was sent to the pressing plant earlier this morning. It will contain 12 songs. Here's the tracklist:

The rest of the four songs recorded will be released later this autumn on Spotify as a B-sides compilation. Release date for the LP will be announced later this summer. Stay tuned, friends!

High Hats enter the studio

Finally the day came when High Hats decided to record the drum tracks for the upcoming album. Some twenty songs are written and all of them were recorded during this weekend in a drum studio in Gothenburg by Machine Gun Niclas Wettersten. Though the album only will contain 11 songs, the rest of the songs will be released as b-sides on digital single EP's during 2012. We are so much looking forward to these releases. The rest of the music will be recorded in the beginning of April. As happy as can be...
